Depending on local country needs, several types of automation are used in the Nijman/Zeetank trucks.

A major part of the fleet is equipped with boardcomputers and satellite communication (Euteltracs; also including real-time geographical positions). Therefore we are able to send messages and transport orders to our drivers and track all trucks constantly to provide real-time and reliable delivery data to our customers. Also the working time/driving registration of our drivers is fully automated via these boardcomputers.

Another part of the fleet is equipped with GPS logging devices which are used to obtain geographical tracking/tracing information from the trucks. With special analysis software, the behaviour of our trucks can be monitored and real-time status updates can be given to our customers.

The rest of our fleet is equipped with telephones. A part of these telephones is also able to browse to a specially designed WEB-site for order intake and status updates.
